Sea Dog 10U Blue USSSA Dec 10-11 "Stike Out Hunger" Tournament Champions

This past weekend our Sea Dog 10U Blue team captures their fourth championship this season by winning the USSSA Dec. 10th-11th "Strike Out Hunger" Gold Division Championship held at the West Covina and Chino Hills Big League Field of Dreams Parks.  In impressive fashion our boys went 4-0 scoring 49 runs on 38 hits and allowing only 6! On Saturday, we beat the Redondo Beach Samurai 17-0 followed by a 10-2 win against the OC Nomads.  This performance earned us the #1 seed going into Sunday's championship run, where we again faced the #4 seed OC Nomads in the semi-final game. We won in impressive fashion 15-0 and tossed a no-hitter as well.  Fantastic pitching, flawless defense and a relentless hitting attack led the team to the Championship Game against the tough Valley Bengals. We jumped on the Bengals out the gate quickly scoring 5 runs in the first inning and never let up scoring two more along the way to a convincing 7-4 victory!  Everyone contributed to this exciting tournament win. This was a perfect way to end a fantastic first half of the season in which we earned 4 championships, 3 finalists, and 3 semi-final finishes in 10 tournaments overall.  Way to go 10U Sea Dogs Blue team!
